Kira's Psychological state vs. L's.

hello everybody. i remember a while ago in the anime, at the beginning L stated something that caught my attention up to now. i believe his words were "kira's psychological state is that of a god". What do you deathnote fans think of what he meant? does he mean kira is so smart that he reaches a whole new level... In this case can it be matched via L's mental state. From what i know L was quite a rival for this godly mental state of Kira's, if it wasnt for uncalculatable possibilities maybe the survivor would be L. Any interpretations are allowed, feel free to leave any comments, concerns, or new ideas. And Enjoy!!

Its simple. He actually meant that Kira had a god complex, which means that he thought of himself as a god passing judgment on the evil and afterwards can decide who lives or dies. You misinterpreted the meaning. As for L, there is no mental state. He is or rather was a very gifted genious.

Yep what verg said is true.What L meant is that Kira thought of himself as a god.U can see that not only by L's sayings...but from his attitude in general xD L was a really smart dude too...i never liked him actually but yeah i gotta admit he was damn smart....buuut Kira was a little smarter after all

lols not as simple as that... after L witnesses Kira's "show" in the beginning he said omg that means he has the p state of a god. i believe everyone has a mental state.

I think it was just mean to say that he believed himself a god meaning he acte as if he were a god

he invisiond himself as a god so that all he was doing didn't seem bad to him if that makes sence
