I absolutely ♥ L after he died *sniff* and I actually started watching it again I liked Near alot. Ryuk is on my list too.

Light's an idiot. He could've easily killed off all those criminals without even coming close to being caught. He decided to be an asshole and start challenging L, and giving him some clues and stuff, which eventually led to his suspicion.

L and Near are awesome anyway.
