21st of this month is the end of earth??

i don't know if any of you heard about it ,but after years of preparation they are going to reproduce the big bang using massive nuclear generator build for this purpose and they are going to turn it on at the 21st of this month ,however the main problem of this experiment is that it will produce a black hole which they are expecting to be microscopic in size ,but the real problem is if the generated black hole was larger than what they expect which is (unfortunately ) high possibility,the black hole might swallow earth as a whole .see what might happen on this link:

do u know how big the black hole would have 2 b in order 2 sustain itself ? HUGE larger than earth. chances are they wont even make a black hole & even if they some how managed 2 create 1 it would only last an instant if that

lol, I wouldn't worry about it. Small Quantum Singularities happen all the time in the earths atmosphere. In order for a Black Hole to get large enough to swallow the earth, it would have to already have intense mass. We do not have the technology to create that kind of mass, therefore it's nothing for someone who is scientifically savvy to worry about. Chances are, they'll create a Singularity that lasts less than 1 thousandth of a second.

thanks for the link ZB,that was a helpful knowledge ,,but anyway as we all know all these knowledge about black holes are mostly theories ,so we can't really know much about them anyway.actually i just thought it is a good topic to chat about,not that i care that much,since i don't fear death .

Oh yeah i watched the whole program on how they are doing it and all on the new channels. No, they cannot destroy the earth (keeping in mind i will look forward to it xD). As said before Black Holes, although can be formed, cannot destroy a whole planet. That only goes for the man made ones. The natural one, big enough to destroy the sun is like 160 million light years away from earth so (say it on Discovery) we don't have to worry about destruction of the earth for quite some time unless we destroy ourselves which is inevitable

the only purpose of that cannon is to make the movement of atom that will reveal the secret of universe-they will create a tiny black hole-the only thing w have to afraid is "IF" they make a larger black hole than they expected the black hole will sucks the earth and it'll become the end of the world but "IF" i success it will very useful.But "IF" they make a massive big bang not a small big bang i will signing up to be the 1st person who will jump to that black hole.honestly i can't wait to see when it comes and see the truth cuz i think it will very fun
