Superheroes!

have looked and havent seen much on American comics so I figure its about time I get this conversation going. Real simple, who do you think is the greatest superhero of all time. It can be from any brand or any era.

Its an easy choice for me, its the one and only SUPERMAN! He ipidomizes what it means to be a hero. Batman is of course a close second.

my superheroes are He-man and She-ra. they were my childhood heroes and I cannot forget them ever.

Batman, hands down. He has no powers but he can pwn anybody's ass anytime. With his intellect and his techno-gadgets, he is almost unbeatable. At least he is nearest to reality in the comic world.

it would have to be Iron Man for me, a normal human who creates his superpowers with his own brilliant brain. ok I wouldn't like to have the piece of metal next to my heart like Tony stark has but otherwise I would like to have his power/suit (and his intellect and money )

if he wouldn't have his mutation-problem I would say he's the best, he always find a way to defeat his enemy's even thou his is a lot less powerful.

I always thought the most interesting heroes were the ones that have truly human characteristics. Iron Man's alcoholism makes him a very dark and interesting character, Batman's tragic story makes him a great psychological character, but to me the answer is easy: Spiderman

Spiderman is basically what any of us would be if we attained super powers. Instead of deciding to save the world, he wanted to use his powers to make some money and impress girls (honestly, WE'D ALL DO THAT). It backfired tragically, and now it's really his guilt that propels him. The constant battle between what he wants and what he should do was the most interesting subplot in the entire comic book world (I think it died down recently, but I don't read comics any more). He always felt the most real to me. After him, I'd probably go with Batman, Green Arrow, Silver Surfer, and X-Man
