Ichigos bankai sword replicas

I was looking into purchasing the 68" version on swords and knives. But I don't want to buy it and have it be painted black.... Does anyone know if its painted or powder coated black. Seeing as it would flake or something like that?

It's painted dude. My friend has it, and where the blade is sharpened, it's silver, a powdered black blade stays black even when sharpened. It's a nice show piece and all, the thing is huge, but not a functional blade at all.

The sword is actually the same blade as the Final Fantasy Sephiroth blade, just refurbished as Ichigos bankai.

Ahhhh ok I would rather have the sephiroth blade now that you mention it
