So you want to buy a functional replica Bleach sword. The title in itself is a major problem. It's very rare to find a functional REPLICA. The fact that it's called a replica means that it's not made for functionality, but made rather for it's appearance. There is however, one blade that meets your picky needs. There is a replica of Zabimaru out there that is a Full Tang, battle ready high carbon steel (1045 Carbon Steel) Be careful though, the one that is carbon steel is a Red sword (
Linked here) There is also a black one out there, but that is made of Stainless Steel, which is not designed for striking objects with (IT WILL BEND lol)
You can also buy the black
Bushido Musashi Koga Black Ninja Sword, remove the guard, and replace it with the Tensa Zangetsu's Guard, which can be found at
Swords, Knives, Daggers, Medieval Swords : SwordsSwords. I've done business with both trueswords.com and swordsswords.com, and they're both reliable.
I just bought the Bushido Musashi Kyuba no Michi. It's a full tang High carbon steel (1045), and the thing is a beast. It cuts a solid 5 inches into plywood without doing any damage to the blade. Pretty much any of the Bushido Musashi blades are really good beater swords. They're only about $60-$70 US, and they're all awesome quality, and can be fully disassembled if you wanted to buy other guards to make them look like replicas.
You're already on the right track though. Any High Carbon Steel Blade (1045 and up) is a good sword as long as it's full tang. Carbon Steel doesn't rust too easily, however like any good sword it requires maintenance (I've included a site where maintenance is easily explained) Whatever you do decide to go with, please use them with caution. A sword is not a toy, and I've seen a lot of people get hurt because they straight up didn't know how to use or swing a sword.
