for teen fantasy romance, Stephenie Meyer is a must....
Another fantasy must if of course, Neil Gaiman (can't believe no one has said him yet). He is the author of many great fantasy novels, including Mirror Mask and Stardust (both made into films). I also hear Neverwhere is good. I'm in the process of reading it now...

I feel so weird coz other than manga, I mostly read romance books...Johanna Lindsey is my first favorite author. :P

Try reading her Malory saga. The characters are fun and witty especially the heroines! It doesn't hurt that the guys are drop-dead gorgeous...LOL.

I love Annie Rice. I have all of the Vampire Chronicle collection from the "Interview with the vapire" all the way up to the add'l novels about the rest characters "Mariuce" and "Armand" , LOL!
