Shunsui Vs Stark -
Dec. 21st, 2008, 07:10 PM
I want to know your opinions on this up coming fight. I personally think that Shunsui will own Stark because he seemed so calm when Stark reveal he was the #1 espada then replied "Then this won't be TOO easy" with a evil smirk haha. Keep in mind he is one of the oldest and strongest captain in SS stated by the Captain-General himself.

I think I am in the minority when I say that I think that Stark will defeat Shunsui. Perhaps Ukitake will have to step in. At this point in the guessing game there is no right or wrong answer...It is just my gut feeling that Stark will not be taken down by any of the shinigami. I think he will either end up on the good side or be defeated by the vizards.

Kyoraku is pretty strong, they might be matched strength wise, but when you add kidou, Kyoraku might have an advantage. Also they are both clever, notice the way they have just been analysing each others abilities and strengths. Also keep in mind Kyoraku is a gd guy so am guessing he's goner win.
None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with you, YOU'RE LOCKED UP IN HERE WITH ME

There's no way Kyoraku, a guy who's been hyped up for several years in the Bleach world, is gonna lose his first fight. My guess is that either he defeats Stark or they never get truly serious. If I had to bet, I'd say that he and Stark come to some kind of understanding after Stark is defeated. Stark and Lilinette will return to Hueco Mundo once this is all over and go about their business.
Another topic that kind of correlates with this is, who will the Vizards fight? A lot of people seem to think the current fights will have to sway towards the bad guys because there are still so many good guys waiting in the wings (Vizards, Urahara, Isshin, Yoruichi, maybe even Ryuuken) that need to get involved. Hence, Kyoraku should lose, just so someone can help him. I think that is flawed, though. My guess is that Aizen has another army waiting that will give the Vizards and every one else something to do. I feel the current battles in K-Town will be handled by the Gotei 13, including this one (with a possible exception of Barragan, just cause I think Yoruichi saving Soi Fon makes a lot of sense).

Shunsui may get out of this dilemma. I can't say for sure who will win since Tite is breaking his cliche' thing that good guys always come on top after what happened to Rangiku, Momo and Shuuhei. Shunsei is a powerful captain, no doubt, but we cannot underestimate Stark. He is calculative and has the power to back it.
As for whom Vizards will fight, i have no idea. The bad guys are falling down like leaves. The only thing Aizen could have done is call on another powerful army via Yammy and Wonderweiss. I agree with DK that SS will he able to handle the current fight. But the thing that is bothering me is that if there are Vaste Lordes coming in, won't Tite have to put some background on them? I mean it would be ridiculous to intro them out of the blue since Vaste Lordes are the most powerful hollow-types out there.
On the other note, has anyone considered the possibility of a betrayal? I know it has very low chance of occurring but what if the vizards turn against the SS? That may even the fighting ground. If that happens, i will be much surprised myself.

just look at Hitsugaya......lol that was funny how he was defeated........
the Vizards will step in and own all the others....thats my opinion....

I totally agree, I doubt they will get serious. I smell an interruption coming in this one. Whether it's the Vizards or Urahara and company, something is going to cut their fight short.
If or when the Vizards do show up, I'm sure Aizen will already have achieved what he went there to do. He'll then most likely retreat back to Hueco Mundo to reassemble his Espada with more updated Arrancar. I just don't see the end of this arc coming at this point. (The end being Aizen's defeat) Aizen might fight just to show off his power, maybe even butt heads with the Captain Commander and pwn him. But I don't see this as an end, but more of the beginning of another plan of Aizen's.

God damned business Iguanas and their leather suits... They're buying up everything.

Who's gonna win ,Really a difficult question to be answered ,a lot of people see that Stark is similar to Shunsui 's character in many peculiarity so lazy ,doesn't like to fight against any one ,also has some mercy ,the confusing be comes up when we start to compare the level of each power ,we knew that Stark is the strongest of all the Espada that would be really horrible once you think about it ,since we haven't seen the real power of the 4th Espada ,but I won't say that Shunsui will be defeated though ,all what we have seen about him ,he defeated Chad in no time also he stood against the Yama-ji (I don't want to comment on about that scene in the second Movie ,that was really ridiculous) ,even though we haven't seen his real power but no way I'd compare him with that Kid Hitsugaya as theeone did ,I agree with just look at his react when Stark told him the real rank ,he look like he will have more fun rather than more struggle ,I know he isn't that type guys who can't live without fighting until death like Zarak ,but this time Shunsui seemed so different confident of himself ,so its really hard to expect who's gonna win ,but probably it won't be for any one of them.

The most anticipated battle in Bleach thus far...oh yes! We honestly, like others have mentioned don't have much to go on when comparing them,....except....SPEED! Recall the last serious moment when Shunsui's speed was displaced...which would be the SS arc when he used shunpo, he was even complemented by Yama-jii on the distance of his flash step, to save Nanao. Now consider Stark's most serious moment with respect to speed..which would be in this arc where he retrieved Orihime. He came, apologized, and FREAKIN VANISHED in thin air and left Ichigo and Zaraki dumbfounded xD. We don't know if that move is Sonido or Stark's personal ability of Teleportation, we must wait to hear the noise when it gets animated xD, but one thing is a fact....Stark is MUCH faster then Shunsui with respect to speed. Eventhough Shuinsui can use Kido and Bakkudo on him....he will have to catch him in it first.

I was thinking about that as well admist all the action, so I felt like making some assumptions: Vizards are/should be the most powerful form of a Shinigami (yes I know they are not the same type) because they can still partake in Kido, Hado, Bakkudo. Vasto Lords are the most powerfull Hollows. I feel that these two are meant to go up against one another, but it will not happen yet....because of what Mushiro brought up. ( I added his quote for convineince xD) which is why we should not expect an appearence from the Vasto Lords anytime soon.

This is very possible and I swear it will be like the worst cliff hanger for the fans . His has based the strength of his Arrancars and Espada's in my opinion through their battle experiences with their opponents. Recall his experimentation with King Fisher, and the informative data provided by Ulquiorra about his trip. I feel that his trip had much more significance then just info on Ichigo, because Ulquiora was already aware of the worst case senario ( Urahara and Yoruichi). By seeing the former captains in action, he also displayed this to Aizen. Aizen managed to create Wonderwise using the Hogyuku, who just happened to strong eneough that during the next encounter when Luupi and Hitsugaya are fighting and Urahara comes in to save Hitsugaya...he barely managed to sense Wonderwiess <== Coincidence...I don't think so.
I personally feel that the Vasto lords haven't even been created and or upgraded yet, because ( I feel) Aizen is once again gathering info, but this time personally....and it makes sense considering 10 Vasto lords are supposed to have enough power to destroy Soul Society. Vasto Lords will be the army you are referring to Mushiro.
@ Darth Kenshin: I agree with you as well, sorry I forgot to quote you
