I was just thinking, since Aizen revealed his true colours. This basicly means that Urahara is in the clear and wrongly exiled (Attacked n turned fellow Capatains n Leutenants to hollow.) Atm old man Yama is giving Urahara some tasks to do for SS. (Building the 4 pillars that transfered Karakura town to SS.) Maybe theres a chance he could officially resume his position as a Captain of the gotei 13. Also if he does get asked to return, will he accept? Atm theres kinda of a shortage of Captains since 2 of em left with Aizen.

I guess the same applies to Yuroichi then, dnt think she'll retake her position again as a Captain. However Soiphon is already the Commander of the special forces (cnt remember the excat name, similar)
maybe urahara will return ,however i doubt yuroichi will ,it seems like she prefer her carefree lifestyle now ,on a side note i think this thread should be in the manga section so as to discuss this in more details without spoiling

Urahara becoming a captain again is kind of weird imo... I can see him helping SS, but probably not being a captain. After seeing how one-sided the "46" people can be, and the Maggots Nest as well - yeah, it'd be strange if he decided to be part of all that again, if that makes sense? Although he might not be the kind of person to care about it - I actually haven't been paying much attention to Urahara ^^;
As for Yoruichi, same thing, since Soi Fon already took over her position as 2nd Div captain.
Its better to have once been a captain then to return to a captain. Once you have lived in the real world and experienced freedom, you cant go back.
Youruichi was a clan head. All that royal stuff gets boring after awhile, look at Lurichiyo!!!!!!!

Anywho, I would say yes, Urahara would most likely return to Soul Society after all of this is over. However, I'm not sure he would reclaim his position in the Gotei 13.
When he sent Ichigo to SS the first time, Urahara tried touching the Senkai gate. It instantly rejected him, which clearly saddened Urahara. Yamamoto already knows he was falsely exiled by the Central 46 chambers, so I'm sure that Urahara has actually already gone to Soul Society. If you do remember, when Edorado and Ilford came to the Urahara shop, Urahara was "Away on some business." Chances are, he was in Soul Society planning what to do with Yama-jii himself. I would go as far as to say that Urahara is no longer officially exiled anymore, especially since the people who ordered the exile have all been killed.
Even with that said, there are so many open positions left in the Gotei 13, chances are that Urahara will reclaim a position in the Gotei 13, but I don't know if he would still be Captain of Squad 12. Unless of course Mayuri doesn't mind moving to another division. He does in fact owe Urahara a great debt, so it wouldn't surprise me if he stepped down as Head of the Research and Development Department to allow Urahara his rightful place in the Gotei 13. Yoruichi would most likely reclaim her position as well because she is indeed the reigning head of the Shinhouin clan, which by blood gives her control over the special forces. Question is, would Squad one be split again into 2 divisions like it previously was? Who knows.

She helped the everyone escape, in SS thats a crime. If u r wondering how they wud have known without even seeing her, the clue is the name GODDES OF FLASH. The only person capable of taking Kisuke n the other guy from the central 46 room is basicly Yuroichi.
