Possible Weakness for Aizen?

Hey guys, so after being caught up in the manga and going back to look at some youtube videos, I wanted to discuss/ hear theories on aizen's defeat, or at least his weakness. I apologize if I state the obvious a lot, but I've been out of the loop on some bleach discussions.

YouTube - Way of Destruction no. 90 - Black Coffin

looking at the video, you might notice that once komamura realizes aizen is in front of him, the illusion aizen smiles, and not just any ordinary smile. It is Ichimaru Gin's smile, correct? So Ichimaru was used for the illusion (absolute hypnosis)

Then that also brings me to Turn Back the Pendulum, where Aizen tells Hirako that had he paid close enough attention, he would have noticed that the man following him was not Aizen.

So my question is: Since Aizen requires a body to use his shikai (kanzen saimin) on you, would someone be able to defeat him one on one, given no one has entered the area at any point, and they can deal with his Kidou powers?

Also, could Urahara's gigai experiments' ultimate goal be to counter Aizen's zanpakutou? Basically, fight fire with fire by using the gigais as "illusions"?

What are your thoughts? And what discussions have you heard before?

will take him out I don't think the captains he took with him to HM have anything to do with his illusions, they just have their own missions I would think, not just to be 's bitch. It's going to be a fun fight, nobody could say what the hell is going on at this point.

This should probably be in the manga section, since you bring up Turn Back The Pendulum (which, to my knowledge, hasn't happened yet in the anime).

Anyway, Aizen doesn't necessarily need another person to create his illusion. Remember his battle with Hitsugaya? That couldn't have been another person, because Hitsugaya used a bankai attack, which would've severely hurt Gin or whoever the fake Aizen was. He also showed Unohana a fake Aizen (incorrectly referred to as a corpse doll). So, he could still use illusions, but I guess nothing as complicated as having a fake person follow someone around.

He also made an illusion of Ulquiorra in Hueco Mundo (Episode 137) to trick the Arrancar Patras into thinking he killed Ulquiorra. Aizen's illusion disipates, and there was no other body. Also, Aizen's illusions are perfect. Even if he had used Gin for one of his illusion, you would in no way be able to know if it were Gin, because it's a perfect copy of Aizen.

Perhaps in the Turn Back The Pendulum he may have needed a place holder for his illusions. After 100 years though, I'm sure he's tweaked his technique enough to not need anyone.

Urahara's Gigai experiment had nothing to do with Aizen. It was something that he had been working before the occurrence of the events in Turn Back the Pendulum. At that point, no one even suspected Aizen of being a traitor, nor did they think he was even powerful enough to hurt a Captain.

I moved this thread to the manga section. Even mentioning the fact that there's a Turn Back the Pendulum arc is too much of a spoiler for the anime only watchers.

i guess i got overly excited. i keep thinking of endings for the anime just because I see naruto manga and anime and I hope bleach doesnt turn out that way. To me it has become more like dragonball and less about ninjas (not that dragonball was bad)

lol yeah, sorry, hate to shoot down a theory. It was a good thought though. Also, Naruto never really had anything to do with Ninja's to begin with. Ninja's were actually considered dishonorable assassin's who were hired to kill Samurai. Naruto's view on Ninjas is so historically inaccurate that it makes me want to vomit all over myself. Hence I would rather find a sharp corner to pound my face off of rather than watch Naruto :P

I dont believe the is a way to counter Aizens technique. Even if you managa to cut the guy, you might just open urself up to a heap og hurt. I think I do have one thoery on how to combat Aizen. Dont attack him.
Every instance that he has been attacked you always end up cutting a clone then he cuts you. So if you let Aizen attack you, you can eliminate cutting a decoy as probably only the real Aizen can actually cut you with his zanpakuto.
I have never seen Aizen actually attack someone first. Seems like his powers are a perfect defense. You can cut him, but it aint him and his counter attacks are usually what kills an enemy.
Besides, even if you could cut him and he lets you, he could simply block it with........his finger!!!!
Aizen is the perfect bad guy. A illusion is such a deadly thing.

i don't think aizen gonna be losing a fight anytime soon.
1. bring grimjow to his knees by barely powering up.
2. ownage attack on the first page
3. so much illusions who to tell if the current situation in the manga isnt one.
4. we dont know what his bankai do/is
5. suppose he got hallow powers too?

Ever wonder what would happen if you were able to touch his Zanpakuto? Perhaps that could break the illusion, much like Tousen's Suzumushi's Bankai. I doubt anyone would have many opportunities in battle to get a hold of Aizen's Zan, but it wouldn't surprise me if Kenpachi tried lol
