So i have a question. Is Grimmjow really dead? I mean yeah Ichigo defeated him but Arrancar have Zanpakuto and if i'm not mistaken when a Soulreaper is near death their zanpakuto reverts back to its sealed state. Grimmjow's didn't so does that mean he's still alive?

i don't think he is alive,as for the changing back thing ,it s not true since we saw a lot of fights were the arrancar were beaten (when they invaded karukara town)and they died in the same release form ,see this page:

i know that,so my point is based on the anime arrancar doesn't return to the sealed form after death since it is originally their true form ,the page i posted was in the anime episode 119 as i said ,but my copy of these episode isn't with me at the moment so i can't post the same picture so i used the manga from which that episode was taken from .btw the manga didn't say anything more on this than what was in the anime,but i believe based on what we saw so far ,he is dead ,plus a dead character can help the show and if grimmjaw appears to be alive after all this that will make the show a bit childish ,or do want a funeral for an arrancar to know he is dead???

actually you are right about the sealed form after death ... but I disagree with you about the death of grimmjow because when you look at this page (Ch 287/P 06) you will see something else

you maybe right ,but i still believe he was in his last breath ,btw what you did now is the spoiler since the anime didn't reach this point yet ,lol
