Default Do the Good Guys Really even Have a Chance? - 08-03-2008

It's obvious that Aizen, Gin and Tousen are not gonna just go to the real world and engage all the Shinigami and the Vizard for no reason....It seems like Aizen is always one step ahead. Most likely he knows that his Espada are about to die, it's not clear yet whether or not he knows about the Vizard, but with the way things have been going it's probly safe to bet that he does. Anyway, considering how strong Aizen and his crew are, and considering the fact that they have been planning all of this for years and years, do the good guys even stand a chance?

We already discussed this in the past here. However, the thread was closed for some reason or another, so I'll allow this thread to stay open and un-merged to bring a new perspective on the topic.

Yes, I do believe Ichigo, his nakama and the Gotei 13 have a chance at defeating Aizen. Already, the odds are stacked against Aizen. He's lost half of his Espada, and no one has died from the Gotei 13. On top of that, there are 8 Vizards whose alliances are yet to be mentioned, but it seems they like the Gotei 13 better than Aizen.

Aizen is well aware of the Vizards as well. Shinji directly confronted Grimmjow, and all battle data is reported to Aizen. So he is fully aware that the Vizard are out there.

The only trump card Aizen has is the fact that he possesses the Hougyuku. As long as he has it, he is infinitely dangerous. If they're able to get the Hougyuku away from him, then victory is imminent for the Gotei 13.

i think they do for 2 main reasons,1st good guys always wins in any anime and specially on bleach since from the beginning no casualties occurred till now and i see no difference here
2nd reason is because the good guys massively outnumber the bad guys and as they say if you can't beat an enemy with power then beat him by numbers ,but it won't be an easy fight

Don't compare yourself to others ,cause then you are insulting yourself.

U all are sayin the good guys are gonna win because Aizen is outnumbered, but you forget that Aizen most likely has some kind of F'd up plan that will turn the tide soon. Surely he is not going to go to the real world just to fight all of these Shinigami.

And even though Aizen has lost a few of his Espada, have u noticed that it doesnt seem to bother him, nor does it seem to have any effect on his plans.

do the good guys have a chance? do you realize what you're reading?

they're gonna win. Not only do they have strength in numbers, but I think Aizen is overconfident and that will lead to his downfall. He looked at the fake Karakura Town stunt as a favor to him, as it will allow him to kill two birds with one stone (even though he genuinely didn't see it coming). Now he feels the captains will be eliminated without him having to lift a finger. So, either he has some kind of crazy trump card (like the Vizards are on his side, or he has another army of Vasto Lordes waiting for his call) or he's just a delusional, overconfident villain the the same vein as just about every other manga villain. I'm going with the latter

Of course~! I mean, they are the main characters. Though im sure a bunch of good guys would die, it's most likely they'd win.

Aizen came to the human world with two lietanants and three top espada. Yes, the odds in terms of strength in numbers is against Aizen but we can never underestimate two things. They are the top three espada which means that they can be more for the captains to handle one on one. Maybe two on one will do the job but SS doesn't have that advantage. Second of all, Aizen and his two dudes. When they come out of the fire prison, they'll be fresh and fit as a fiddle while on the other hand the captains will be dead tired or very near to death (if one of them dies, i'll eat my shoe). Uptil now, its Aizen's game.
The situation changes when the Vizards intervene. But what we don't know is who will they favor. Yes, it seems they are leaning with SS but again two things should be noticed. SS were the ones who banished them from the place altogether with no fault of their own (talking about th vizards). Secondly, Tite is a tricky SOB and he can pull off some really weird and surprising stuff. So all we have to do is play the ever boring waiting game. If not, u people can start chewing off ur arm in anticipation and work ur way down

I would not be surprised if the Vizards came out cutting the Shinigami. You heard what Shinji said when he first encountered Grimmjaw. He said he wasnt ichigo's and companys friends BUT he still helped. I think They will help anyone affiliated with ther eal world but as far as the Gotie 13, they may not forgive the ruling of 'Kill them all"after they became Vizards.
