Aizen and Urahara on the same team? !

I got to thinking after reading -98, that maybe Aizen and Urahara could have been working together at some point. What do you think?

I am not sure for one thing, Aizen says to Urahara 'you're just the man I thought you were, I'm glad you came here tonight'.

Could that mean they may have had talked before about increased powers for the shinigami? The Hougyoku? Other ways to create a vizard?

My thought is that they did. I think that Urahara created a way to break down the barrier, and wanted to test it on the shinigami, but was either denied, or knew that he would not get permission. Why else is it forbitten? I believe he got with Aizen because it was said that Urahara roams around at night with a cloak that hides his Reiatsu, and it was said that Aizen was also out at night too. They got together to try it out.

I dont know seems kinda far fetched, but is possible o.o the thing I dont get is why would Urahara test it because he isn't evil (doesnt seem it at least) and he would have known the consequences. But it is possible I guess the only thing I wouldnt like about it is that he doesnt seem evil at all and has helped many people out O.o

It does not mean he is evil just because he wanted to test it. It just means that he wanted to see if his invention really worked. And Aizen was the only person he could go to for test subjects. it is not unlike urahara to work with the insane...take Mayuri for instance, he was in jail because he could be a threat to the ss, but urahara had him released so that he could work with him. Was he evil for doing that? He could've thought the same of Aizen

well...there isnt anything more pleasing then to see ur work get realized and actually work...but Urahara quickly found out it wasnt that perfect O.o..cos Kensei had to save some kids ( Hisagi ) from a completely converted shinigami hollow...but Aizen isnt stupid...he always knows whats going on and he probably stole Urahara's research...or the substance used to dissolve the boundaries between a shinigami and his hollow....I think aizen just used Urahara...like he constantly uses everybody to achieve his goal..the ultimate POWER!!..:P

it was said that aizen was searching for safe way to break the border, but he didn't find it, on other hand urahara did in in no time compare to aizen.

those capitans are another failed test and urahara tryed to repair it with his reasearch.

and kaiendono is still alive if i remember so he never found another way.

I don't think that they worked together. When Aizen said "you're just the kind of man I thought you were," I think he was saying that he researched basically everything for a soul to become stronger. Urahara wears the cloak at night because he doesn't want to be noticed by anyone. Especially that night, he was given orders not to go to the site, but his concern for his VC made him go.

i think that Urahara was working with aizen in the begining but backed out once aizen got too far ran away and hid the hougyaku,or another thing maybe aizen was hoping to get urahara on his side ,so that si why he said these words to him,and maybe after that urahara joins aizen fro a while then leaves aizen after he hide the hougyaku and so,but this theory is pretty strong i posted a similar one on another thread

I agree with you on most of what you are saying. But I just don't know how Aizen could have stolen Urahara's research? Although, Aizen and Urahara could have spoken about the research and he tried his own studies on breaking down the boundries in a faster manner. I really think they both used each other. But when Urahara realised that Aizen was an unstable person he might have back out. And then Urahara left ss to keep Aizen from gaining anything further.
