If it is absolutely true that Aizen can only be defeated without setting eyes on his shikai, and if Ichigo fails...then is Tousen our only hope? I'm not sure if I completely but into all of it. It just doesn't add up.

If Aizen has such a hand up on everyone, they why didn't he take care of all of them before Ichigo showed up? This further backs up the theory that he has just been toying around with them this entire time.

am i the only 1 thinking that ichigo should not in any way shape or form be able to defeat aizen? i mean taking into account that if he is facing death in the face he'll get to that full vizard form again but i honestly think even with that aizen would b able to smash him fairly easily
cus aizen still has his bankai & possibly a vizard mask as well since the whole SS arc was so that could get that hogyoku so that he could rid himself of his limitations

I'm with you... don't understand why seeing Aizen's shikai is such a big deal in this case. The fact that Yama has seen it makes a difference, but Ichigo? I'd imagine Aizen could wax Ichigo without needing hypnosis. But I suspect Ichigo will get some help, maybe from his father or Urahara or Orihime (she has to do SOMETHING, right?).

Actually, I totally agree with you on that note. Despite that, we all know that there will be some way that Ichigo comes out on top. He may lose some limbs or something, but he most likeley will win. That or they will find a way around Aizen's shikai and then someone else would take him down.

True dat. This show is way to Ichigo and good guy centered. People need to die and stay dead honestly. And we can't expect Ichigo to do everything, honestly it way too illogical.
