Your Opinion about Gin and Tousen

was wondering, how tousen and Gin can even stand up to the captains and all of the vizards, seriously gin completely took out hiyori with her not even noticing i know hes stronger but come on he has a streachy blade thats not even a good power. he dominates with only his shikai he cant be that strong
but im waiting for kenpachi to take out tousen cause last time he fucked him up even with tousens bankai.
i just dont think either of them are in the same leauge with out even using there bankai's, well i think that they shouldnt be dont u guys?

and with the ichigo's new mask i think the hollow inside him may have been released when ichigo died/ almost died and hes showing that his new power needs controlling i just hope they dont do an inner battle scene again there soo bad

id like to hear eveyones opinion about it

Tousens's bankai is probably the most effective bankai we have seen....Im sure if Tousen was fighting anywhere besides kenpachi,he would taken out his head......Just like how he easily defeated Kensei in TBTP.....the bankai is scary......
as for Gin....he has alot of question marks....we havent really seen him angry or having being on the ropes....his bankai has to do with light im sure of it....a blinding light bankai....Think about it...Tousen the darkness crippling bankai,Aizen weellllllll,the demonic destructive shikai(dont wanna think abt his bankai) and Gin the blinding light...Undefeatable team.....
By the way,if Tousen has to fight Kenpachi now...he would be slaughtered and fed to his squad

That wasn't his bankai though. It was a illusion by Aizen, then Tousen stabbed Kensei from behind. As for Ichimaru Gin, he would have defeated Hitsugaya in their fight early in Bleach.Hitsugaya managed to hold back the 3rd espada for a good time. I'm pretty sure Aizen's right hand man should be stronger than all the espadas. Yeah that's his personality, smiling forever xD Nah a blinding light bankai would be to familiar,I doubt they would use the idea from a guy from the bounto filler (forgot his name) for a important character like Gin or anyone for that matter. Wasn't it Aizen that stopped Ichigo's bankai sword attack, with his finger and not his shikai? That means hes insane even without his zanpakuto. I think it would be harder now for Kenpachi to win against Tousen if that fight would happen, but in the end he would probably win. I think the only ones that could win over Tousen's bankai is Kenpachi. Maybe Byakuya (he could fill that space with his Zenbonsakura), Yammatto (same thing, just stronger and with fire)...

Gin is a beast, it was pretty obvious from the first time he was shown. Tousen... not too sure about yet. His Bankai really is amazingly difficult to overcome. Only a demon like Kenpachi could actually deal with it.

Kenpachi, or a shinigami with extreme destructive power or excellent defensive powers are the only ones who could survive Tousen's bankai. So..out of the powers we know...Kenpachi, Byakuya, Captain Commander....that's pretty much it. I don't think even Ichigo could beat him.

Personally, if they don't have hollow powers, I don't consider them threats at all.

Gin is a prodigy, but he's still fairly young. I doubt he has reached his full potential. He came up at about the same pace and level as Byakuya, and they're of similar age, so I assume their powers are overall equal or close to it.

Tousen is pretty powerful, but I feel his effectiveness comes down to matchups. Kenpashi was a tough match up for him. I also feel any one with a solid shunpo can do the same thing Kenpachi did: feel the sword and then dodge.

True...but you have to remember it wasn't because Kenpachi dodged the sword that he defeated him...it was because he is crazy enough to take a full blown sword through the gut to be able to get a chance to kill Tousen. I doubt there are many other shinigami that could say the same...

yeah i agree
but i want a true fight between gin and tousen and the good guys but i dont think aizen wouldnt let that happen because he doesnt want his boys gettin killed( well not gin anyway)
i just cant imagine what aizens bankai would be but i recon it would be majorly unfair like everyone just dies haha yeah that sounds like aizen.

yeah I doubt other captains would allow themselves to be stabbed like that, but if I remember correctly, Kenpachi resorted to that out of boredom. A more disciplined Shinigami, especially one quicker than Kenpachi, would be able to eventually land a significant attack via the dodge/counter method. Kenpachi just didn't wanna wait.

But something came to my mind when writing this: if Tousen uses kido while in his bankai, how can any one defend against that? Could be a pretty beastly combination.
