my friend and i were arguing on what made them speacial....he was dissapointed with defeat of Stark.....he said that ".....he was easily killed by Kyouraku...."....for a primera espada we should have seen more from him he recons and the other two(Halibel and Baragan).....

To their defence i said '.......well,all three of them seemed to have absolute powers or moves that nobody can stop(derived this from Ulquirra R2 and Baragan....)...i told him that Halibel was waiting for something until Hitsuguya did that move on her.....blah blah blah blah

I could carry on forever...so i just want know what your point of view is guys?

they weren't special... they were just stronger than Espada 4-10. Clearly, they aren't as powerful as the elite captains.

But in the defense of the Espada (and Aizen in general), his plan was to crush the Gotei 13. And had the Vizards not interrupted, he would have. Kira was practically in tears when Fura blew the flame cage out. So let's not be too hard on the Espada.

i think tht the only reasone he brought those 3 espadas were to wear them out to make them tired so they used sum Reatsu so they wouldnt be able to fight but then the vizards came in and helpt defeat 2 espadas one was defeated by hacchi but the other was helpt to defeat stark and Halibel was the last one to remain so aizen got mad tht his top 2 espadas got defeated so then he didnt need Halibel no more thts y i think he killed her but Yammy is the only espada tht remeains the question is y didnt he bring Yammy with him???

ya i think ur freind has made mastake for seing what special evry1 of them had fight vizard+captine+vice i think and stark taked 2 vizard+ kyurako+ukitake i think they done will

They were all pretty worthless. Apparently there was nothing that made them special. Not even a Vasto Lorde among the whole lot of them. Just a bunch of Adjuchas nobodies.

What disappoints me about the Espadas is that they were said to be all powerful etc......The Shinigami go out and kill hollows etc but i never saw a Espada go out and kill Shinigami?
They were fairly ignorant. hell Ulquiorra would have at least killed someone..he was a beast vs Ichigo. Was he the Strongest Espada?Stark seemed like just a guy with a cero gun and some wolves.....WOW.
barrigan was a beast and he could have killed everyone had he been smarter. Halibel would have just been backup for the top 3. She really sucked in my opinion, letting Hitsugaya best her, and she was only saved(well not really) by WW.
They were pretty useless. Ulquiorra was the only one with purpose it seems.....

I think what you mean is that Ulquiorra is the only one who had a shared purpose with Aizen. And I agree, it made him more dangerous. Starrk never really cared. Even after he defeated Love and Rose, he was hoping they would run away so he wouldn't have to kill them. He's just not ruthless. He wanted friends, not enemies. Aizen was a convenient ally, but he never cared about his purpose. He never even referred to him as Aizen-sama. Starrk was just going with the flow. Had he truly believed in Aizen's cause, I get the sense these fights would've gone a bit differently

And lets not forget, the Espadas had a pretty hefty force at their disposal in the various fraccions they had. Allon, that beastly animal was strong, they used it unwisely. They were supposed to be smart. But Barrigan was very special. His powers were of death . And he truly got everyone killed becuz of his bad planning.
