Vizard mask speculation

Isn't it odd that Rose is the only person with a mask that is not flat and is also the only person with special abilities (hypnosis, telekinesis) which are purely mental power augmentation, while none of the others (which all have flat masks) have purely attack, defense and stamina augmentation. Do you think this is just coincidence? I think not, it seems a little far fetched yes, but I have two theories on why his is so different.

1) Your mask shape is based off your natural abilities.

2) Your abilities are based off your mask shape.

Now the reason my opinions differ is because of Hachi, I wouldn't say his mask isn't flat (I don't count tusks or horns.) But a special kido wouldn't seem to be a mental ability but is still very unique and I would question why he got it. I mean, Hachis mask is not so different from the rest but his unique kido is probably a result of his mask, which leads me to speculate that your mask shape might form from your powers.

Or it could be totally random but I don't think so.

I don't think that the shape of the mask has anything to do with the powers. Rose captured the Gillians with the "melody" that he was playing. His Zanpakuto is also musically based, so that is an enhancement of his powers. Hacchi's ability for the barriers is also just an enhanced kido, essentially. Hacchi was naturally good at Kido, he was the Vice Captain after all.

I'm gonna assume there is no correlation, because it was never mentioned with hollows. No one ever talked about a hollow's mask (or an arrancar's mask remnant) being in any way indicative of their abilities, so I'd assume it's the same for Vizards. Not sure, though.

Look at Ichigo. What does his mask give him?

Speed, power, red lasers and a cool roomy in his soul.

The rest are the same, in the end, it just enhances your powers instead of giving you new ones (with the exeption of Cero).

What I'd like to know is if Ichigo has a hollow side that is quite alive and different in personality, do all the other vizards have one? Logically they would, and if they did, wouldn't it be awesome to watch a mentally insane version of Shinji and company? Imagine having more than 5 out of control hollow/shinigami freaks going at it... it would probably be a double edged sword though. It can also just be Ichigo that makes his Hollow Side look so overpowering due to Ichigo being a big newbie (meaning that his hollow is drawing out more "hidden" prowess) whereas the other vizard's abilities may not be so exponentially increased when their hollows take full control because they have already achieved their max potential (no hidden "cards").

I've discussed the same possibility in the past. If Aizen was able to Hollowficate them in the past, he might be able do it to them again and use that to his advantage. Maybe somehow make them temporarily lose control over their inner-hollow to create a distraction of some sort. They're all there... kind of convenient.

Shinji- power (flat)

Lisa- power (flat)
Ichigo- power (flat)
Mashrio- power (flat)

I really don't see any correlation. I think Rose's unique ability has more to do with his Zanpakuto than the shape of his mask. He's the only character who's shown the ability of combat through sound/ music. All of which came from his Zanpakuto. Plus he's barely used his mask at all. Plus the fact that mask shape/ design hasn't made a difference with any of the Arrancar or Espada.

I think although they unique to each character but i dont think the masks have anything to do with their powers. I dont believe that a certain mask can give u certain abilities.
