Which made me think of something interesting, because of his childish nature and the fact that he is not apparently good/evil, this might be a good moment for Ukitake, seeing his behavior towards children. AKA bringing wonderboy to the side of good or.....he will get killed by him lol (doubtfull)

I dont know. It seems like to me that Aizen just completely threw away those Espadas... he knew he was gonna not need to lift a finger in order to further weaken SS forces. Think about it..all the v'cs are damn near dying or dead. All the captains ecept for Shunsui and Ukitake are all thats left really who could defend vs that big , black eyes mass. PLUS Aizen is gonna decide at sometime to come out of that fire and when he does, all those captains might be in a heap of trouble. I would not be surprised that with Ole man defeating the arrancars pet, that Aizen might have somehow slipped out of the fire along with Toushen and Gin and surprise the ole geezer.
To me , Aizen has planned basically all this up to now and with the emergence of the black mass, i beleieve he can forcefully escape the fire trap and either leave the real world and pop up in SS where he may meet the other good guys or just proceed to mop up the rest of the Shinigami forces until the Vizards comeout to play..

If he was going to slip out of the fire I think he would have already, in the thinking of securing his victory. And a couple of the vcs and the captians are fine, the vcs are banged up a bit and one captian is missing a arm (even though that will surly be magically healed here soon) but more or less are still there and standing. The only ones that I would say are down for the count are the two that tryed to fight the three chicks and got tossed about lol.
Long story short Azien may have had it planed out but I don't think it is going exactly how he wanted. And now a gateway to HM is opening which may be the way that Ichigo and the others will get back to the real world, once they finish off yami (and I would be guessing that Aizen is such a smugg bastard he probally thinks they are all dead or at least sitll tangled up in fights) I am interested to see about the Vizards, this would be a great time for them to step in.

VC wise, none have died. Most of them are injured (and useless at this level anyway)

I see this going 3 ways.

1: Everybody left on the field gets destroyed before help arrives.

2: The captains + Ichigo manage to get back from Hueco Mundo.

3: The Vizards show up to help out.

well im pretty sure both there bankai are epic...Ukitake and shusui...they will probably used against the big thingy...im putting money that wonderweiss will "evolve" into a vasto during his battle...its just seems to me like itll happen...and he walks around with a claymore on his back which i think is bad ass

I doubt any of you remember it, but about over 9000 years ago I posted a thread asking if anyone knew what the hell was the deal with that big black mass with the purple crescent from the end of the Soul Society arc. NOW I finally receive those GLORIOUS TRUTHS which I have desired.

Most of the characters have changed significantly in the way Tite draws them. If this is the thing that was behind Aizen in the SS arc, keep in mind that was like 3 years ago. Tite is known for some artistic inconsistencies over time.

Oh wow very interesting manga.... Anybody have any idea why Ukitake would tell shunsui not to show his bankai? im bad at imagining conclusion, and i really hope wonder wise is a vasta lorde i want to see the vizard struggle a little and then completely own

A great chapter, after a long time. Loved the fight. Stark is a friggin genius. And talk about the ending. If memory serves me right, isn't that big thing more like the eye that appeared when Aizen first went to HM? Great twist by Tite. At last. And from Stark's expression, i don't think the espada knew about Wonderweiss and his pet.

Wonderweiss looks like he might freakin own. And if Stark and the others really don't know about him and his buddy, maybe the Espada are about to discover they are just puppets in Aizens hands.
