who is the true identity of KUROSAKI ISSHIN ? is just

's father??

i think he is not just as kurosaki ichigo's father, but who??

(Double post b/c this is actually asking a question, as opposed to answering someone else's and they're not related at all)

Was Zaraki really the 10th Kenpachi? In the TBTP arc, a lot of us thought the "loose cannon" captain of the 11th squad was in fact Zaraki. After all, it just made sense. However, look at this picture:

Bleach 146 page 02

It looks as if Tousen became captain before Zaraki. He appears to be wearing his Captain's Haori in that picture. I also believe this was the case in the Bounto Arc. I know it's filler, but it depicted that very scene (just with Ichinose there) and it confirmed that the white overcoat in that picture was the Haori (I think... I don't remember the Bounto Arc well so if I'm wrong, please correct me).

I know this is something we haven't given much thought to lately, but I just saw that picture and started wondering.

Maybe you can chalk it up to just a minor inconsistency... after all, this chapter is like 200 chapters before the TBTP Arc and is a pretty minor scene, but as much as Tite makes stuff up as he goes along, I figured he always had the timeline set.

I'm sure they will get around to Kurosaki Isshin's story sooner or later, as well as Uryuu's fathers' story. I'm interested in seeing it as well, from the brief discussion they had, Isshin lost his powers at some point but regained them.

There is no "Captain" Of squad Zero. Squad Zero consists of ALL captains.

I wouldn't say they're all as strong as Yama-jii, but I'd say they're all of High-End Captain Class, equal or more powerful in strength to Ukitake and Shunsui, and possibly even as strong as the Captain Commander. It's pretty hard to be as strong as or Stronger than Yama-jii.

off subject but one thing i never got was why didn't Ikaku use his bankia on ichigo is the SS ark? from the flash backs we know he could use it before then, he was capable of using it while training renji before ichigo even came into the time line.. soo why didn't Ikaku who wanted so badly to go all out with ichigo not actually go all out and lose? after viewing ep 220 when he wouldn't release it yet again, i couldn't help but think he isn't a very good member of the protection squads.

I didn't think he had it back then... but then again everyone was searching for Ichigo and the others so maybe he thought that too many people could appear and see his bankai...

He had it, but his goal is to forever work under Zaraki. His bankai is a secret that he only told to Yumichika and Renji (others have apparently figured it out, though) because he wants to stay 3rd seat under Zaraki.

What's weird about the Ichigo fight is at that time, there were no openings for captains (when Renji implored him to become a captain after Aizen, Gin, and Tousen left, he said that he hid his bankai because he didn't want the higher ups for make him a captain and leave 11th squad). It was just foresight on his part: don't show his skills so that his name will never come up for future captain vacancies.

there is actually a video in youtube for tite kubo explaining that,at the begining all the shinigami uses guns except for rukia(as i remember)so it was going to be called snipers ,but then it was changed to swords and so the name couldn't fit anymore ,so he thought of black as the new name ,but it was way too cliche,so he wanted to name it white but white would give the impression of black ,and so he came up with bleach,i know it is kind of lame explanation but if it is tite who says that who can argue with him ,it is his creation after all
