Bleach Episode: 246

I'm thinking Genryusai is super pissed off right now, and his anger, or the anger of his Zanpakuto, is causing the barrier to burn up. It's like going up to the glass on the oven and sticking one's face on it when they're looking at the baking item... it burrrns. I'm not quite sure if opening the barrier up and being anywhere close to a millenia old fire god, who's in a rage, is a great idea. Or maybe Genryusai is just generating so much Reiatsu to keep the barrier from collapsing on him :S.

As for the 3 Zanpakuto leaving, all I can assume, if this was not just a logical mishap on the show coordinators' part, is that all that was needed was 3 of the strongest Zanpakutos to power up the shield before the shield was able to cycle through on the power itself. Like charging a cell phone, once it's fully charged, it does what it should for a long time without you needing to plug a charge in it until later.

Then that brings up the question why the the CC is still chilling in the middle of it. Wonder if he is unable to move? Because he surely could of pulled out his shikai and busted out of the seal. (if not Bankai).

I think if Ichigo tries to break that seal, a bad thing will happen. I doubt he has the power to contend with the seal but i think this is all according to Muramasas plan. Muramasa would not just leave this unguarded like that unless it was planned.
Also Muramasa stated that Yamajii's zan would not listen to him at all. So that means Yama jii and his zanpakuto are unseparable. They have a connection that is the epitome of what a shinigami and their zan should be. It shows that every other zanpakuto and thier respective owners still have a loong way to go in order to have that same kind of relationship.
if anything, Yamajii's zanpakuto is protecting Yamajii from anyone who it feels is a threat. And yamajii doesnt really trust anyone so...

Since Zaraki Kenpachi went with the group and Shunsui Kyōraku / Ukitake Juushiro are fighting their Zanpaktou's, we can only assume the the hooded figure is Zaraki Kenpachi's Zanpaktou. It could be Yoruichi Shihōin's Zanpaktou, although I kind of doubt it.

Sheesh, is everyone on this site a pessimist? If they do hurry this arc up, it just means that Bleach will end faster. Once Bleach ends, then what?
Nothing to be pessimistic about then, I guess that's an optimists point of view. :/

Bleach won't end anytime soon. Even if they do finish this Arc and then finish the main storyline there will just be more after that, it's been discussed in detail in other threads. Besides, if what Wish0ne said it true, this Arc is just over half way at the moment. I think we have some time.

I think Ichigo definitely has the power to destroy the barrier...but I think that may be what Muramasa's plan is. Unstable power sources do one of two things when they go out...they either fizzle or they explode. Two huge reiatsu in such a small area, in between an unstable barrier...sounds bad.

I really kinda wish that Ryujin Jakka did materialize...I couldn't even imagine how awesome looking it probably is...it's nearly an unfathomable thought.

This episode was good, not in terms of content, but in the fact that we got to see the rest of the zanpaktou. I like how Kyouraku and Ukitake both like their zanpaktou, I don't think it will be much of a fight. They are like a step below the Captain Commander, so I don't think their zans have much reason to hate them.

Spoiler: ....And for the manga readers

I think they added a mini-spoiler in when Kyouraku's zanpaktou said "I'm done playing games with you." This was sort of eluding to the games that they play in order to fight. Also when Ukitake said he doesn't like fighting children, this might give the anime watchers something to look back at when he doesn't want to fight Lilynette.

MUramasa had special plans for Ichigo. I also wonder what Byakuya and Muramasa want to do in the real world......
Obviously Yamajii and his zanpakuto can defeat any other shinigami........So i take it that yamajii will be freed and then what???Who is he really gonna fight?Most of the zanpakutos are already subdued or are about to be. What possible reason did Muramasa have in sealing Yama?
Was he merely a trump card, a decoy?
Did Byakuya have a hand in planning this with Muramasa?Waaay to many questions to be answered.

That's actually a nice idea. Maybe Muramasa had no intention of keeping Yammamoto sealed in, he just used him as a decoy so that they focus would leave him and Byakuya. That hooded zanpaktou didn't even try to attack Ichigo, so he was probably just setting up the ploy.
