Looks like he cant seem to stay alive without his other half around. He's gotta take power from some other soul, considering he's only half a soul himself.

I don't think it was a Vasto Lorde. They wouldn't just introduce one of the most powerful beings in a filler and not even give any background or insight.

This episode was good though. I think Momo's monologue was unneeded but that was really the only drawback. I loved that it finally showed Hitsugaya meeting Rangiku.

Yea it was funny seeing a "young" rangiku. I guess murumasa had to remove hyourinmaru's memories because he had too strong of a bond with toshiro? They didn't really clarify on that hopefully they do next episode or something.

This episode made up for last week's lame fight scenes.HItsuguya's fight was great and Muramasa draining hollow energy is logiacal because he needs a power source since he killed his shinigami,or he will die.

yeah i doubt it was a vasto lorde because they are apparently stronget than a captain or some crap, so i doubt a mere zan could defeat one alone, i think it was just an arancar he was seeking.
