Amagai and Ichigo are on the same side in the intro. But it clearly shows Amagai deflect Kifune's shikai with what I think is a kido-based sword. So I think the people who think otherwise have been debunked. But a lot of the things in the intro don't necessarily happen, like when the guy Ichigo fought with the bakkutou grabs Lurichiyo and disappears. Which is also what I think is going to happen with the Renji vs. Byakuya scene.

yea that guy who grabs lurichiyo i am pretty sure he is dead but u never know still i personaly think that amagai will realise kifune is evil and there will be a big square off. or am i wrong
