Rukia's Name!

i have a theory on how did they name rukia.

first of all the name Lucia. japanese don't use the letter L, so they changed it to Rucia. then maybe like before they release bleach they finalized it to Rukia.

so what do u guys think?

No not really.. It's just another name. I don't think they did that to come up with it.
It's like:
I know how people got the name "Bob"
its from Robert. Some people think ert sounds funny. And 2 year olds can't say their R's. So they made it B instead. to get Bob.

lol i foudn a site with all the names and stuff and possible meanings. apparently Ruka's name is still a mystery.....

Well kinda nice theory but I don't really care about Rukia(anything that has something to do with her) don't really like her for all I care she can be named Johny cuz her father wanted a boy....xD

I agree with you i really couldn't care less about rukia, her name, her family or anything to do with her.

I was gonna say something about byak-kun..but then I realized that hes simply an asshole...and only has a cool bankai...so..nah..^o^..and! Lucia could be the western way of writing it :P they did that with claymore as well

she plant light in ichigos life. she is the begining of story.

You've never made up a name that really had no meaning? I used to do it all time time for fanfiction and stories for classes. My latest being Ryeauzeka Kattun. No meaning at all in those two names. But I bet if I ever get those stories published that someone will do what you're doing in trying to figure out some meaning behind it. Sometimes, a name is just a name and nothing more. Now who the person is and who they become is something completely different.
