GXP has different characters and runs another storyline... about a kid alot like Tenchi, but with an even worse streak of bad luck... luckily he has a high pain threshold and a strong will to live... so somehow it all works out... oh and this main character doesn't stop at gathering three girls around him... seems his bad luck attracts almost every lady around him... to the frustration of a certain group of three people who act as one character... it really is an enjoyable series... oh and tenchi and crew show up from time to time, but they aren't the main characters in this one...
