Actually I believe that his beliefs were one of the most creative beliefs ever. Why do criminals deserve to live. Shouldn't it be like an eye for an eye? In Saudi Arabia they cut the arms off of thieves (I believe thats the right country). So why should murderers live while the families watch them get away with just a warning. Cough OJ Simpson Cough.

normal criminals usually get jail time or the death penalty

murder=death penalty if evidence is good

some criminals just where in the wrong place at the wrong time and got blamed

It's not that simple. And it's certainly not for one person in particular to decide.

First of all, it's kind of hypocritical to distance yourselve from murdering while you're pro death penalty. In fact, it's the same thing, it just has a nicer word and it's 'socially accepted' killing.
Second of all, the purpose of a punishment is to make the culprit see that he's done wrong and to make sure he doesn't make that same mistake again. That's not really an option if he's dead huh?
And my third point.. revenge doesn't bring that person back, nor does it relieve sadness. It just seems like it does at that point.
