Think there will be more than 26 episodes?

In latest part in anime Raki split with Priscilla and Isely, and he is now head to Pieta, that never happened in manga maybe they will make an alternative ending after 26 episodes. Something like Priscilla misses Raki and she folows him to Pieta, where she meets Clare, Clere goes berserk and kills Priscilla, or Priscilla realizes what she has done and kills herself...
looking forward to see what happenes

it would be a mistake if there will be no battle with clare vs priscilla i think they are not so stupid to avoid it

no,chap. 73 is way futher away,where they are at now is about 65 or 66th chap. they are probably gonna do 26 for season 1,and let the manga go on futher,then couple months(i hope not!!!) but their probably gonna make us wait for the manga to fill out 1st

From my point of view, what we're currently experiencing is the beginning of the anime story. Meaning there will in most cases be another type of... story somehow, which will now or later be announced.
Raki e.g hasn't really been shown to any kind of worth, and what is he capable of? I believe that Raki somehow will be obtaining the form of a claymore later on, to be able to be with Clare, and to protect her. The story would just be ridiculous if Raki wouldn't be able to reach Claymore status.. imo.. hehe

well i will be very dissaponted if the stop the anime something like berserk did. This is one of my fav now along with bleach. If no season 2 there is no good way to end the anime this soon. I may just turn into a yuma and eat there guts, Guts goes with Berserk 2

Unfurtunlly I think it will turn out similar to Berserk, since anime is from episode to episode more different form manga, in alternative ending is very likly to happen (more mad)

I'm going to retract my statement they will end it on Episode 26.

I'm seeing a possibility of 27 or even 28 episodes via OAV releases and maybe even 29 or 30 if possible. TV series are limited to a few releases dependent on what the publishers say they will put out due to a TV seasonal release schedule. OAVs however can be released outside these limitations and can go on as they see fit. Usually OAVs are also releases as a wrap up to series as mini-series or even full length movies.
