Sasori was defeated because Chiyo knew what he was about since she was practically his baby sitter and they were int he same village. So Chiyo was unique in that way.
Hidan was defeated because his technique was pondered upon by like four or five ninjas, especially Shikamaru. Since we know that Sasuke is too holier than thou and not as a genius as Shika, it will be too late before Sasuke is toast. Speed is a maybe but do you know how Hidane surivived all those fights with the bijuu's (who could use speed like the Tailed Cat one)? He made up for lack of speed with his powers. And his attacks were only slow in the sense that he weilded a huge-ass modified scythe. And he does not need that to perform his ceremony.
Can you elaborate on how Sasuke could defeat Kakuzu with MS? None of the special MS powers could end up defeating Sasuke. Sharingan could only trap one person at a time (Chiyo's explanation before Naruto came face to face with Itachi). Kakuzu is practically three or four persons, so yeah, can't see this one endiing in Sasuke's favor.
