well i wont comment on the things that have already been explained with that said
i think some of ur splatters are a lil fuzzy/blurry id suggest sharpening them you'll b surprised how much of a difference it make xD
also the edges around mario are a bit rough >.<
& i think it would have looked coolour if you had made the splatters around mario instead of in front
but on a plus side i do see improvement
