The site looks really great
only issue I have with it is that at 1680 x 1050, it's pretty hard to read the writing (in the Bio for example), it is readable, but some of the letters seem to merge together a little bit. Other than that, it's an awesome job
Good effects, fast loading, smooth transition between pages (Archive to Home or Bio and visa versa), and good choice of colour. Oh and centering it might be a good idea
having it in the top left is a little odd (I know it's just a test site)
