actually if you read around the guidelines and rules in the battle area, it never says anything about digital battles, it just says art work.

if you want you can go right a head and start battles with hand drawn art. I've seen battles like this before. As long as things don't go beyond forum rules I think it's fine, just don't go beyond what accept, but I'm usually open for anything.
