Ok, mate - the 2 last movies are completely different from the 1st one. The whole theme is darker, and in each movie there actually dies people, compared to that ûber-happy thing in the first movie.
Trust me, it's completely different from the last one than the first one, ofc it's the same thing but it's more suited for adults.

trust me if you read the books ,you will hate the last two movies ,the ruined the whole story ,i read each book for at least 4 times ,but i couldn't bear to watch the 4th movie till the end ,and for the first ones were a bit childish of course they will,i mean the main character was a child then so it makes some sense ,as for the last movies it is neither an adult nor a childish it is sth in between ,i love the series but hated the last two movies ,sorry but i have to disagree with that,
