yeah I thought it was just in the anime too. Now that I'm caught up... I'm still not sure about the answer, haha. My guess would be that perhaps Father just wants an evolutionary world. He sees Homunculi as superior to humans, so he plans on sacrificing enough humans (via the war) to have enough power to create a perfect, utopian society of Homunculi.

i think they mentioned sth like that somewhere ,i think they talked about that homunculi is an evolved humans,and how they will replace the current humans ,so i guess you might be right but if that is the case then the father will envade each country in their world and my guess the next will be xing
