First I read was GTO a few years ago, just cause I wanted something funny to read and it was recommended, so I checked it out. Great manga.
My favorite had been Berserk for a while, but I'm getting more and more detached from it because of how long and overcomplicated it's becoming. It's losing its edge, as it's been making the same religious/philosophical points for years now, and it just feels like a drawn out epic. It's still my favorite, but I'm becoming less enamored with it, and might lean towards a more reasonably lengthed manga as my favorite (perhaps Monster or Kenshin)
Next up... no clue. I'd love to tackle the 2000+ page beheamoth that is Akira, but I dunno.
