One of the better action manga out there!!!
Claymore is for me one of the better action
manga with a sad background story. The art is very beautiful. The story tells in the beginning that the Claymores are inhuman killing machines, but when the story develops you will see that Claymores are more human than demons (Youma) (until they "awake") and they also have feelings about love and friendship.
Then the ranking system of the
Claymores (remind me of power level (DBZ) or bounty (
One piece), but although not exactly the same; or it's more closer to the ranking system of the agents in the Baroque Works (Sir Crocodile - One Piece) is in my opinion very interesting and intriguing. The sword fighting is wonderful, the design of the Armor for the Claymores is excellent and the character design is superb.
By the way, Clare (protagonist) does look like Ikuno from Angel Densetsu (comedy
manga from the same author; another recommendation) which is also one of my favorite characters!
